Get to know me
Hey! My name is Matthew M, a BA Media & Broadcast Production Graduate from Northern Ireland.
For my entire life, I have gravitated to digital creation as an outlet from academia, starting a YouTube channel in Junior High School to share my interests in wrestling & gaming which helped me to develop and hone my skills in graphic design & video editing. It has amassed 2 million videos total and 8K subscribers today, not bad for a hobby.
I wanted to take my hobby into education and studied a Media course then applied to study Media & Broadcast Production at university which I graduated with first class honours. Throughout my time there, I was lucky to work on various projects from podcasting, news journalism, documentary filmmaking and much more. Our studio TV news show won an RTS craft award in 2025 which I hold dear as the sole graphic designer for the show and vision mixer during the live recording.
My final year project saw my lifelong passion combine with a lifelong interest, creating a documentary that followed two professional wrestlers in our local scene. We worked for 7 months from concept to execution telling the story of two best friends who found their perfect partnership as LGBTQ+ individuals looking to leave a mark on the wrestling scene. We won an RTS Award in 2026 for Best Factual Short, shortlisted for Cinemagic Film Festival and won Best Documentary at the Queen's Student Film Festival.
This site acts as a portfolio for many creations that were made throughout my education but also my own personal time, hopefully you enjoy the variety that only scratches the surface that the storage space can allow.
